Meet Dinsdale-Chimera Diallo

(the name Diallo--dee-ah-loh--is from Africa and means Bold, which fits this bold and beautiful boy perfectly).

Diallo is a great pup: in addition to being stunning, he is very smart and eager to learn. We are really enjoying having him here at Chimera.

Pups enjoyed a visit with friends today. Much fun was had by all. Pups especially enjoyed playing in the leaves and "gardening" by pulling dead plants out of planters.

"Pups are 6 weeks old, but they still need watching," asserts Papa Ash.

You can see in these photos that Ash is very watchful and quite protective of his pups, who are playing and sleeping nearby (see photos below).

Standard schnauzers are vigilant and dedicated dogs who always are mindful of the well-being of their pack members, whether canine or human.

When you meet a standard schnauzer, don't be surprised if he or she is not immediately warm towards you. Standard schnauzers are not like labs or golden retrievers and most will take some time to decide if you are a friend. A standard schnauzer's friendship, however, is worth the wait!
