In these shots, you can really how dog-like the lion statues can be. These statues are for sale outside of the government-run "Friendship Store" and restaurant (very over-priced trinkets, souvenirs and also very bad, US style food, by the way) between the Ming Tombs and the Great Wall. Beware if a tour guide ever takes you there! At least you can admire the lion dog statues ...
