"Pups are 6 weeks old, but they still need watching," asserts Papa Ash.
You can see in these photos that Ash is very watchful and quite protective of his pups, who are playing and sleeping nearby (see photos below).
Standard schnauzers are vigilant and dedicated dogs who always are mindful of the well-being of their pack members, whether canine or human.
When you meet a standard schnauzer, don't be surprised if he or she is not immediately warm towards you. Standard schnauzers are not like labs or golden retrievers and most will take some time to decide if you are a friend. A standard schnauzer's friendship, however, is worth the wait!

Thank you for uploading the pictures! We had a great time visiting with you , Ash, and the pups. I'm sure we'll be vacationing at the cabin again after the new year, so we'll have to arrange another visit.
